Breaking: In a major decision, the government has banned at least 59 Chinese apps, including TikTok. Many popular apps are in the list of banned Chinese apps including Shareit, Halo, Sheen, Like, WeChat, UC Browser. The move aims to protect the interests of crores of Indian mobile and Internet users. The decision is a targeted step to ensure the security and sovereignty of Indian cyberspace, the Ministry of Information Technology said in a notification.
